Welcome to Parenting Genius. Eudaimonia Holdings, LLC d/b/a Parenting Genius ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data.
 

This Privacy Policy tells you how we collect and use your personal data when you visit our website (parenting-genius.com) or use our app (parenting-genius.app) (collectively, the "Platform"). It also tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.
 

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By accessing the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
 

We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described here.
 

2. About Parenting Genius

Parenting Genius is a behavior-change app and educational platform designed to support parents and caregivers of middle schoolers (approximately ages 10–15). Our tools, content, and guided practice experiences are grounded in adolescent development research and built to help adults develop the skills and confidence to navigate the middle school years.

Eudaimonia Holdings, LLC is the data controller responsible for this Platform and any handling of personal data carried out by or on behalf of Eudaimonia Holdings, LLC.

3. Who This Platform Is For — Important Notice

Parenting Genius is intended exclusively for adults aged 18 and older.
 

This Platform is not designed for, directed at, or intended for use by minors. While the content and tools within Parenting Genius are designed to support your relationship with your child, all use of the Platform is by and for adult users only.

In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. More broadly, we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are under 18, please do not use this Platform or submit any personal information to us.
 

Information you enter about your child — including behavioral observations, journal entries, or practice notes — is your own personal data, entered by you as an adult user, and is governed by this Privacy Policy.
 

If we become aware that a minor has created an account or submitted personal information, we will promptly delete that information and close the account.

4. How We Collect Your Personal Data

We use different methods to collect data from and about you, including:

Direct interactions. You may provide us with personal data by filling in forms, corresponding with us by email, chat, or social media, or interacting directly with the Platform.

This includes personal data you provide when you:

  • Take the free Parenting Genius Skills Assessment

  • Create an account on the Platform

  • Subscribe to a paid plan (Growth tier)

  • Sign up to receive our newsletter or other email communications

  • Use the Journal, Progress Tracker, or Community Forum features

  • Contact customer support

  • Enter a competition, promotion, or survey


Automated technologies or interactions. As you interact with the Platform, we may automatically collect technical data about your hardware, browsing actions, and usage patterns. See Section 5 (Cookies) for more detail.

Third-party sources. We may receive personal data from third parties including analytics providers, payment processors (Stripe), and fraud prevention services.
 

Platform infrastructure. Parenting Genius is built on and hosted by Base44, which acts as a data processor on our behalf. Base44 processes data solely to power Platform functionality and is bound by confidentiality obligations. You can review Base44's privacy practices at base44.com.
 

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your experience on the Platform.

What is a cookie? A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a web server. Cookies help the Platform remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and deliver a more personalized experience.
 

Web server logs. When you visit parenting-genius.com, we may collect:

  • Your IP address

  • Browser and device type

  • Pages viewed and links clicked

  • Date and time of your visit

  • Referring website


You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect some Platform features.
 

6. How We Use Your Personal Data

We use your personal data to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Platform and its features

  • Personalize your experience, including your Skills Assessment results and 14-day Guided Practice cadence

  • Process payments and manage your subscription through Stripe

  • Send push notifications related to your practice modules (you can manage notification preferences in your device settings or account settings)

  • Send you newsletters, product updates, and communications you've opted into

  • Respond to your inquiries and support requests

  • Comply with legal obligations

  • Protect against fraud and misuse of the Platform


We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to — most commonly where we need to perform a contract with you, where it is in our legitimate business interests, or where you have given consent.


7. Your Journal and Personal Practice Data

The Journal feature within Parenting Genius allows you to record personal reflections, observations, and parenting practice notes. This data is:

  • Private to you — your journal entries are not visible to other users

  • Never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes

  • Stored securely as part of your account data

  • Deletable upon account closure (see Section 11)


We treat your journal and personal practice data with the same care and confidentiality as any sensitive personal information.


8. Community Forum

The Community Forum is a shared space where Parenting Genius users can connect, share experiences, and support one another. Please be aware that:

  • Content you post in the Forum is visible to other registered users

  • Do not share personally identifiable information about your child or others in the Forum

  • We moderate Forum content and reserve the right to remove posts that violate our Community Guidelines


9. Push Notifications

If you grant permission, Parenting Genius will send push notifications to support your 14-day Guided Practice experience and ongoing skill-building. These notifications are module-specific and practice-oriented — not marketing messages.


You can opt out of push notifications at any time through your device settings or your account preferences within the app.


10. Sharing Your Personal Data

We will not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share your data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers — including Stripe (payment processing) and Base44 (platform infrastructure), who are contractually bound to use your data only to perform services on our behalf

  • Legal compliance — if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public

  • Business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate notice to users

  • With your consent — for any other purpose, with your explicit permission


We do not use your personal data for third-party advertising or retargeting campaigns.


11. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with services. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us at hello@parenting-genius.com. Upon verified request, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.


12. How We Protect Your Information

We implement commercially reasonable security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
 

You can help protect your account by using a strong, unique password and notifying us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access at hello@parenting-genius.com.
 

Your data may be stored and processed in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, your use of the Platform constitutes consent to the transfer and processing of your data in the United States.
 

13. Communications and Marketing

We may use your contact information to send you newsletters, product updates, practice reminders, and other communications you have opted into.
 

You can opt out of marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us at hello@parenting-genius.com. Opting out of marketing emails will not affect transactional communications related to your account or subscription.
 

14. Accessing, Correcting, or Deleting Your Information

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you

  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data

  • Request deletion of your data

  • Withdraw consent for communications at any time

15. Do Not Track

We have not implemented technology to recognize "Do Not Track" signals from browsers. Some content on our Platform may be delivered through third-party providers whose tracking practices we do not control.
 

16. Single-Pixel Gifs / Web Beacons

Our emails may contain web beacons (single-pixel gifs) that allow us to determine whether messages have been opened. These are used solely to measure email performance and improve our communications. We prohibit web beacons from being used to collect or access your personal information beyond this purpose.
 

17. Links to Third-Party Sites

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
 

18. Your Rights Under GDPR (EU Users)

If the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to you because you are in the European Union, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • The right to be informed — which this Privacy Policy fulfills

  • The right of access — to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you

  • The right to rectification — to ask us to correct incomplete or inaccurate data

  • The right to erasure — the "right to be forgotten" in certain circumstances

  • The right to restrict processing — to ask us to pause processing in certain circumstances

19. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
 

20. Translations

This Privacy Policy is executed in English. To the extent that any translations are provided, they are for convenience only and the English language version shall control.
