1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Parenting Genius website (parenting-genius.com), web app (parenting-genius.app), or any related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Eudaimonia Holdings, LLC d/b/a Parenting Genius ("Parenting Genius," "we," "us," or "our").

 

2. Who This Platform Is For

Parenting Genius is designed exclusively for adults aged 18 and older — specifically, parents, guardians, and caregivers of children in the middle school years (approximately ages 10–15).

This Platform is not intended for use by minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are under 18, please do not use this Platform or submit any personal information to us.

While the content, tools, and practices within Parenting Genius are designed to support your relationship with your child, all use of the Platform is by and for the adult user only. Information you enter about your child — including observations, behavioral notes, or journal entries — is your own personal data, entered by you as an adult, and is governed by our Privacy Policy.

If we become aware that a minor has created an account or submitted personal information, we will promptly delete that information and close the account. If you believe a minor has accessed the Platform, please contact us at [your contact email].

3. Description of Services

Parenting Genius provides a behavior-change application and educational content platform designed to support parents of middle schoolers, including but not limited to:

• Skills assessments and personalized parenting profiles

• Educational content including the Skills Library, Science Snack Cards, and Spark Scripts

• Behavior Decoder and Response Guide tools

• Scenario Simulator and guided practice experiences

• Journal and Progress Tracker features

• Community Forum

• Push notifications and 14-day Guided Practice cadence

 

We offer three service tiers:

• Essentials — Free, with access to core features

• Growth — Paid subscription ($12.99/month or $99/year) with full platform access, including a 14-day free trial for new users

• Genius — A premium tier currently in development; terms will be updated upon availability

 

4. Not Professional Advice

Parenting Genius provides educational content and skills-based tools — not professional psychological, therapeutic, medical, or legal advice.

Nothing on this Platform should be interpreted as a substitute for professional consultation with a licensed therapist, counselor, pediatrician, psychologist, or other qualified professional. If you are concerned about your child's mental health, safety, or wellbeing, please seek appropriate professional support.

The tools, frameworks, and content on this Platform are based on research in adolescent development and adult learning. They are designed to support your parenting skills — not to diagnose, treat, or address clinical conditions in your child or yourself.

 

5. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration

• Maintain the security of your password and account credentials

• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account

• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties without authorization.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Free Trial. New Growth subscribers receive a 14-day free trial with full access to Growth features. No credit card is required to begin the trial. At the end of the trial period, continued access to Growth features requires a paid subscription.

Billing. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selection) until you cancel.

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

Price Changes. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of the Platform after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

7. Community Forum

The Platform includes a Community Forum where users may share experiences, questions, and parenting insights. By participating in the Community Forum, you agree to:

• Engage respectfully and constructively with other users

• Not share personally identifiable information about your child or others

• Not post content that is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or harmful

• Not use the Forum for commercial solicitation or spam

We reserve the right to moderate, remove, or restrict content and users who violate these guidelines, at our discretion and without notice.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including but not limited to the 3-6-12 Model, Spark Scripts, Science Snack Cards, Contrast Cards, Script Cards, course materials, frameworks, copy, design, and branding — is the intellectual property of Parenting Genius LLC and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

 

You may use Platform content for your own personal, non-commercial parenting practice. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, sell, or create derivative works from any Platform content without our express written permission.

9. User-Generated Content

Content you create within the Platform — including journal entries, assessment responses, and Forum posts — remains yours. By submitting content to the Platform, you grant Parenting Genius a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display that content as necessary to operate the Platform.

 

We will never sell your personal journal entries or assessment data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.

10. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Parenting Genius makes no guarantees about specific outcomes from using the Platform. Results depend on many factors, including individual effort, consistency of practice, and each family's unique circumstances.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eudaimonia Holdings, LLC d/b/a Parenting Genius, its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Platform.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Eudaimonia Holdings, LLC d/b/a Parenting Genius and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

13. Modifications to the Platform and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time. We may update these Terms periodically. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
